Outlook Email Sign In Access
Outlook email sign in access is the new name given to the free email service from Microsoft, since mid-2012. Previously the service was called “Hotmail” and revolutionized Internet since its inception, mainly for offering in a totally free and based on web (ie not relying on an application-software-installed on a PC).
Today seems totally useless email service is web-based (ie, it is “webmail”), or what is free. There are hundreds of similar services, unless specific e-business cases, these TCP based protocols (POP3 and SMTP) have disappeared.

However, the name “Outlook” comes from the Microsoft Outlook desktop software, which takes its looks and design and its functionality largely (though the online version is completely independent of the desktop program, worth noting).
The software, born in 1989 in conjunction with the Office Microsoft package, and heat of competition then Bill Gates company fought with Netscape Messenger, quickly became popular, offering, in its successive versions, not just the function of sending and receiving messages (emails) but also functions calendar, task manager, address book, etc. Functions that today, all integrated webmail service by any standard, but in the mid-90s was far from commonplace.
When Hotmail comes to cyberspace in 1996 revolutionises Internet, because besides offered for free begins to implement many of the functions previously available only seemed to desktop clients. With the appearance in 2004 of Gmail, the google search engine bet to grab this segment of users. Microsoft begins to implement improvements in their webmail service, and so after many changes and modifications, in July 2012 began the process of migration to the free outlook.
